Celebration of Life

Hello Everyone

Last Saturday we had a Celebration of Life for my brother Carl at the Royal Inn bar and grill, it was his favorite place. It was well attended by many of his friends and family. I’m not sure how the former Red Wing player fit in, he showed up after I had left, David was coming down to fix a small pluming problem so I didn’t see him.

Hello everyone

First I’d like to thank everyone for their condolences and prayers it meant a lot to me and my family.

Now picking up the pieces and moving on, back to the story. This section comes from near the end of When Your Lips Touch Mine, it's where they find Nick who had gone missing and yes all linked to the kidnapping of Skye, I told you this story took on a life of it's own. 

HCM 20213 WYLTM P21 S1 

“What about this missing deputy?” Lawrence asked as they started for the shoreline. “Any news on where… I think I found him.” he added looking down.

“Bloody hell, call 911, tell them we need and airlift,” Liam said climbing down to where Nick laid unconscious. He checked a pulse and found a steady one. He then started to untie him.

“There on their way should be about fifteen minutes,” Lawrence called down to him. “Anyone else I should call?”

“His brother, he’s staying at Maggie’s,” Liam said knowing she would have it all over the island before the airlift got here, but it couldn’t be helped, Chris needed to know.

“Oh lord.” Was all Lawrence said punching in the numbers and placing the call. He found it funny how he still remembered the number after all this time. “Do you need me to come down and help?”

“Don’t want to move him until the paramedic’s get here.” Liam said pulling the tape off his mouth as gently as he could.

After a couple of minutes Lawrence could hear the sound of feet running and looked to see both Maggie and Chris Morrow rounding the house and heading over to where they could see him, they were followed by three others. Maggie said they were in the café when the call came in and she ran them all out to get Chris here. In the distance they could hear the pounding beat of the approaching helicopter.

Chris did not like seeing his brother lay so lifeless, his first reaction was to get down to him and pick him up. Even though he knew the sheriff was right to wait for the paramedics. With nowhere to land it hovered over them and they came down on cables assets the injuries loaded him into a basket pulled him up and set off for the mainland hospital.

Maggie, sweetheart that she was handed Chris her car keys and told him where to find it in the parking lot on the mainland. The sheriff gave him directions to the hospital on the way to the ferry.

HCM 20213 Has a title

            Hello everyone

I’m very happy to say that HCM 20213 now has a title, When Your Lips Touch Mine the story was written last year, but only had its file number. Now it gets its title from a song, and no it’s not the song title.  I would never have heard the song if it hadn't been for RJ Scott, so thanks RJ.

I had mapped out the storyline on where I wanted it to go, but this story seem to have a mine of its own and when veering off in another direction. Characters are getting kidnapped; I think it’s so much better then what I had planned. It’s being revised as well as Merewood. Bouncing between the two stories, so you’ll get bits from both here, here’s one of the funnier typos found yesterday. The Character Nick Morrow, who has transferred to the San Huron Sheriff office and as a new deputy, has been assigned to Fawkes Island replacing Karl, who hates being assigned there.

Karl couldn't believe his good luck, and he was down to the dock waiting for the fairy to arrive.

As near as I can tell this the only time I made this error. Because it is spelled correctly Word doesn't have a problem with it, it’s too busy wanting me to change “are you into is you” and other silly things.

I’m afraid that’s all for now keeping it short because there are storm clouds gathering, what’s happen before will happen again all to soon I'm afraid.
